These terms cover use of gwbagu.com, our advisory services, and our digital products, including refunds and cancellations, with the sections below linkable individually if you need to jump straight to one.
Acceptance of these terms
Using this site, booking a consultation, engaging GWB for a service, or buying a digital product means you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site or services.
What GWB does
GW Bagu provides market entry advisory, vendor verification, market research, procurement support, business matchmaking, and general consulting to companies entering African markets, plus digital products (reports, templates, checklists, playbooks, and similar) sold through this site. Not professional legal, tax, or financial advice
GWB's advisory services are business and operational guidance, not legal, tax, or financial advice, and shouldn't be treated as a substitute for advice from a licensed lawyer, accountant, or financial advisor in the relevant jurisdiction. Regulatory and registration guidance reflects our understanding at the time it's given; regulations change, and you should confirm current requirements with the relevant authority or your own counsel before making a decision based on it.
Consultations and bookings
Consultations are booked through Cal.com at the times and prices shown on the booking page. Rescheduling or cancelling is possible up to 24 hours before your slot through the confirmation email Cal.com sends you; see also Refunds below.
Digital products
Buying a digital product (a report, template, checklist, playbook, toolkit, guide, or prompt library) gives you a license to use it for your own business purposes. It doesn't give you the right to resell, redistribute, or publish the product itself. Digital products are delivered electronically after payment confirms; if you don't receive a delivery you were expecting, contact us rather than assuming it failed to process.
Payments
Payments are processed by Paystack. Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. We don't store your card details; Paystack handles that as the payment processor.
Refunds and cancellations
Refund terms differ by what you've bought, since a report and a live consultation aren't the same kind of thing to refund:
- Digital products. Because these are delivered instantly and can be duplicated once downloaded, they're non-refundable once delivered, except where the file is defective (won't open, is missing substantial content from what was described) or was materially misdescribed on the product page. Contact us within 7 days of purchase for either case.
- Consultations. Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your booked time for a full refund or a free reschedule. Cancellations inside 24 hours are non-refundable, since that slot was reserved and couldn't be offered elsewhere.
- Project-based services (market research reports, vendor verification reports, procurement support, and similar). Refund terms are agreed in writing before the project starts, since scope and stage of work vary by engagement, see your project agreement rather than this general page for the specific terms that apply.
- Business matchmaking. Introduction, success, or retainer fees are non-refundable once the introduction has been made, regardless of whether it leads to a completed deal, GWB is not a party to and doesn't control the outcome of any agreement between the introduced parties.

Business matchmaking and introductions
Where GWB introduces you to a buyer, supplier, investor, contractor, or distributor, we're facilitating an introduction, not acting as a party to, guarantor of, or broker for any resulting agreement. Any contract, payment, or dispute between introduced parties is between them; GWB isn't liable for the conduct, solvency, or performance of either side.
Affiliate links and third-party sites
Some pages, particularly Recommended tools, contain affiliate links, if you sign up or buy through one, GWB may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to tools we'd recommend regardless of commission; the full disclosure is on that page. This site also links externally to afropitch.com for business directory listings.
Intellectual property
The content on this site, including report and template text, blog posts, and site design, belongs to GWB or is licensed to us, except where otherwise credited. Buying a digital product licenses you to use it; it doesn't transfer ownership of it or permission to redistribute it.
Acceptable use
Don't use this site to violate any law, attempt to access parts of it you're not authorized for, or interfere with its normal operation (including scraping content for republication or attempting to disrupt the forms, booking, or payment systems).
Limitation of liability
GWB provides advisory services and information in good faith but doesn't guarantee any particular business, regulatory, or financial outcome from using them. To the extent permitted by law, GWB isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of this site or its services. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from them falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Abia State.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the "last updated" date above when these terms change. Continued use of the site or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
